"The second clear condition was probably just a student prank. This school churns out lunatics." Wang Jie sat beside Gao Ming. "You don't seriously think killing a hundred living people will let you clear it, do you?"
"Maybe that's the graduation requirement for ghosts." Gao Ming leaned back in his chair. "Du Bai and I attended a class. As long as you obey classroom rules, you won't be killed. It seems ghosts can only exploit the rules to harm people, not use violence."
"Then can we use violence against ghosts?" A vicious glint flashed in Wang Jie's eyes.
"Probably." Gao Ming opened the group chat on his phone. "The Saeki in the hospital gown killed the Saeki in the school. Whatever the case, killing is allowed."
"Are you two insane? If a ghost can be killed that easily, can you even call it a ghost?" Du Bai wanted no part in Gao Ming and Wang Jie's conversation. He felt that those two gave off a different air from ordinary people.
"I was just asking." Wang Jie smiled. "Killing people isn't realistic, and earning enough credits to graduate probably won't be easy either. One class earns you one credit. Are you confident you can survive a hundred classes?"
"There should be other ways to escape the school." Gao Ming studied the grain of the wooden table. He had never died in Hande Private Academy, so he had no memories to draw on. "Graduating doesn't necessarily mean you can leave, either. Sometimes living can be more painful than dying."
For Gao Ming, getting killed would only mean returning to the tunnel. But if he lost his freedom and became trapped in the school forever, that would be disastrous.
He wasn't afraid of dying. He was afraid of being unable to die even
