"A voice from the forbidden zone? The teacher giving us this lesson is inside the forbidden zone?" The students of Class Thirteen had discovered yet another way to attend class: their teacher was assigning them classwork from the classroom next door.
The Art Teacher hadn't said what punishment awaited them if they failed to finish the assignment, but everyone instinctively felt that it wouldn't be good.
The doors and windows of art room 2103 were tightly shut. A clock hung above the blackboard, its numbers varying in size and its hands crooked, moving in an extremely awkward fashion.
"The door isn't locked, but it won't open." Xishan pushed at the door. Clutching his pencil, he paced back and forth.
"You're driving me crazy. Can you shut up for a minute?" Du Bai wanted to throw paint in Xishan's face.
"All five paintings look like a mental patient painted them. How are we supposed to figure it out?" Ignoring Du Bai, Xishan ran over to examine the paintings beside the others' easels.
In fact, the vast majority of the students looked utterly lost. They didn't dare guess blindly, either. Back when they were in school, a blind guess could at worst mean failing an exam. Now, it meant gambling with their lives.
"Gao Ming, which painting do you think was painted by the deranged killer?" Liu Yi and Wang Jie were clever. Without consulting each other, they both approached Gao Ming.
There were two psychiatrists in the class. One, Saeki, had already gone mad. The other was Gao Ming, who was the entire class's hope.
"These five paintings depict the same scene: students sitting in a classroom during a lesson. In the first painting, the students are drawn using only the most basic lines. The artist wanted to recreate the scene
