Some good news to share!!
This book will be going premium tomorrow, so I'm putting today's updates on hold for now. I'll make up all the missing chapters tomorrow!!
Thank you all for understanding.
Now, onto my note for the book's paid release!
First, I'd like to thank all you wonderful readers for keeping up with the story. This book did pretty well during last week's trial promotion. Although it never made the overall new-book rankings, it did at least reach the top 50 in its category.
This book's success so far also owes a lot to all of you urging me to update and following each new chapter.
Thank you, everyone! oz2 (A kowtow to you all.)
Honestly, as a new author, I was pretty surprised that this book had been added to so many reading lists.
It could actually have gone premium a little earlier, but unfortunately, I'd been writing away in solo mode without communicating with my editor, so I got the news about the trial promotion a little late.
After I signed up for the trial promotion, I couldn't go premium while it was being featured, so I was hard-locked for a week.
I've also been reading all your comments. A lot of you wanted me to add more heroines to the harem, such as Gu Xun'er, Medusa, and Yao Ling.
I've been considering those suggestions too, constantly listening to your opinions and revising the outline over and over, which has made the writing rather messy. You can see some of that in the earlier chapters.
Originally, I wasn't planning to touch the original work's established love interests, but at everyone's strong urging, I added Gu Xun'er on the fly.
If there are any other heroines you'd like added later on, feel free to suggest them. I'll give due consideration to characters who get a strong response.
I've also been working exceptionally hard to learn how to write romantic scenes! I've been looking to fellow authors for inspiration while also learning how the pros portray their characters.
At this point, that more or less wraps up my note on the paid release.
Finally! To all you wonderful readers who genuinely enjoy this book, could you move those little hands of yours, with skin like lustrous jade and the power to turn stone into gold, and give this book a five-star review?
Pretty please, ozr!
