Ever since the Second Shinobi World War broke out, Uchiha Shinichi had scoured every corner of the Shinobi World, using the Flying Thunder God Marks he had left while traveling with Tsunade to search for Madara Uchiha.
He had entered Madara Uchiha's hideouts more than once, but always came away empty-handed. White Zetsu were everywhere, and Madara seemed to have an endless supply of bases, rivaling even Orochimaru's secret hideouts. At times, he could not help exclaiming, "Ah, how many White Zetsu does that make? Madara Uchiha has even more bases than Orochimaru!"
Every time Shinichi crushed another White Zetsu to death, a flicker of irritation stirred within him, but he never slowed down.
"I'd love to turn White Zetsu into 'ginseng fruit' and feed them to Madara Uchiha and Shimura Danzō every day. Ha!" Shinichi gave a self-mocking laugh, easing some of his tension.
He had cleared out several of Madara Uchiha's bases, but no matter how hard he tried, Madara's whereabouts remained elusive, as though he were always two steps ahead.
