Once Uchiha Hui got home, he did not bother thinking about all that.

He just wanted to keep opening loot boxes.

He had just gotten two rewards from Asuma.

Uchiha Hui had thought that, with two drops, he would most likely get one Wind Release technique and one Fire Release technique.

Reality, however, always had a way of falling short.

Sure enough, he had only gotten a Fire Release technique. The Wind Release technique was still sitting on Asuma.

This kekkei genkai came from the Kaguya Clan over in Kirigakure, while he was an Uchiha. He really could not display it openly, so he usually only used it discreetly during taijutsu combat.

As a result, he had no source of experience cards. Relying entirely on his own training made raising its proficiency painfully slow.

He checked the time.

Uchiha Hui found that there was still a while before nightfall.

After thinking it over.

He decided to go out "foraging" and see whether he could find a few people willing to spar with him so he could keep improving his strength.

Quite a few ninjas were practicing.

The rather noisy surroundings gradually fell quiet.

Because a prominent figure was approaching.

Seeing that no one else wanted to challenge him, Uchiha Hui found a corner and began "opening loot boxes."

There were no unexpected surprises.

It was Uchiha Kiyoshi, whom he had met several times—the chunin who served as something of a guard for Uchiha Fugaku.

Ever since defeating him during their first meeting.

Uchiha had fought him at least three more times in this short stretch.

He had contributed at least three portions of Pupil Power toward upgrading Uchiha Hui's Sharingan. As for other basic Ninjutsu like the Body Flicker Technique, Uchiha Hui had not counted them, but there had certainly been plenty.

Kiyoshi had a pretty good sword technique.

His drop rate for the Body Flicker Technique really was not low.

"What's this about?"

Uchiha Hui murmured in surprise.

It had been a while since he had last spoken with this big brother of his, but he could clearly sense that Fugaku was preparing something.

And as a chunin.

Uchiha Hui clearly could not play much of a role in such important matters.

Uchiha Fugaku had not summoned him again.

After a moment's thought, Uchiha Hui said nothing more. He gave Uchiha Kiyoshi a slight nod of acknowledgment and prepared to follow him.

"Hui, your strength is getting more and more terrifying!"

On the way, Uchiha Kiyoshi offered the compliment casually.

"If you're weak, all you can do is train harder. What else, stay a chunin your whole life?"

Uchiha Hui spread his hands.

He certainly would not reveal his full strength, but he could not deny what others had seen of him.

After all, crushing chunin was now as easy for him as drinking water.

If not for the fact that instantly defeating some Elite Chunin felt a little too outrageous, forcing him to fight them for a while longer, he could have beaten even ninjas of that level with his eyes closed.

Not to mention that he now had a Three-Tomoe Sharingan, and all his various Ninjutsu had been ground up to very respectable levels.

"But no one improves as quickly as you do, Hui."

Uchiha Hui stared at Uchiha Hui and sighed. Hui's growth had spurred him on, so he had been training hard lately too. Fugaku had even said he was approaching the level of a Special Jonin.

But compared with Uchiha Hui.

His rate of improvement was clearly still not enough.

The man before him.
