Over that month, Tetsuya had taken Hanzo of the Salamander out to eat, drink, and indulge in all sorts of entertainment, introducing him to pleasures he had never seen or even heard of before.
With Tetsuya deliberately steering him along, Hanzo of the Salamander grew increasingly extravagant. Little by little, he became obsessed with enjoying it all.
"Heh, this is working nicely."
With a satisfied smile, Tetsuya stepped out of the dimly lit room with its sultry atmosphere, leaving Hanzo of the Salamander alone inside to enjoy himself.

To successfully corrupt Hanzo of the Salamander, Tetsuya had made a point of getting acquainted with the Land of Fire's aristocratic circles and learning about their lives before coming to the Land of Rain.
Now, it seemed that all of it had been worthwhile. His efforts hadn't gone to waste.

Just as Tetsuya was thinking it was about time to pull out, a ninja from Amegakure approached him.
A large, dark bluish birthmark covered the man's right eye and the right side of his forehead. Although he wore a respectful smile, his eyes betrayed some of his pride as a ninja.
Clearly, he didn't think much of Tetsuya as a merchant. But given how close Hanzo of the Salamander was to Tetsuya, he had no choice but to put on
