Morning sunlight already filled the entire courtyard. The clump of green bamboo swayed gently in the breeze, a few lingering dewdrops still clinging to its leaves and refracting tiny shards of light.
He put away the bundle of ingredients for the Bone-Strengthening Pills, then checked the Alchemy Furnace in the corner.
This Alchemy Furnace was the old one he had gotten from Black Wolf. A few crude cloud patterns were cast into its body, and the rim of the fist-sized fire opening in its belly had been blackened by burning charcoal.
Though shabby to look at, it was actually quite handy to use.
Since Black Wolf did not want it back, Mo Yun had never replaced it.
Whatever else might be said, this was Mo Yun's first Alchemy Furnace, and he had grown somewhat attached to it.
