The Demon Emperor's eyes gleamed. "I'm actually very interested in this world before us. This world is powerful. Its life-forms attack without a sound or trace, making it especially easy to fall prey to them. I just wonder whether these life-forms possess intelligence."
"Lord Chaos Heaven, would you dare accompany me inside again?"
Chaos Heaven's aged face reddened. "Why wouldn't I?"
He had carelessly fallen prey to an attack, and he was rather embarrassed.
After all, it would be quite humiliating if word of this got out.
With both men on their guard, they entered again, and those little things could no longer invade their bodies so easily.
The Demon Emperor's eyes lit up as he looked at the treasures covering the ground.
"No wonder you couldn't resist. There are so many of them, packed together like this."
"Who cares whether anyone is here? Let's gather these things first."
"The two men were like diligent old farmers, frantically harvesting all kinds of medicinal herbs."
"Quite a few of the medicinal herbs here had even become spirits. They actually tried to burrow underground and flee, but how could the Demon Emperor let them escape? With a sweep of his hand, energy spread out around him and covered the area, and he caught the medicinal herbs one by one."
Although the two men were fast, the medicinal herbs here fled just as quickly. Before long, they had vanished.
When they looked again, all the medicinal herbs around them were gone. Not a single stem remained.
