Daochen was not about to give up now. He said to the Lord of Fate beside him, "This fellow can duplicate his own body, but he's a cunning one. His core is somewhere among these aggregates."
Daochen's Heaven Measuring Ruler struck down again and again. These little things were clearly far weaker in battle, and before they could gather in any great numbers, Daochen completely suppressed them once more.
Daochen broke them apart again. This time, they fared even worse, turning straight into a heap of flesh that fell to the ground.
"Kill!"
Daochen gathered the remnants of the Resentment Aggregates directly into his hands.
As he felt the energy within them, he had to admit that these fellows were brimming with it. No wonder they could revive endlessly.
But this substance had one flaw: its resentful qi was too dense. Absorbing this energy over a long period would probably change one's temperament.
Daochen abandoned the idea of absorbing them and began searching for the core.
Even a Resentment Aggregate should have something akin to a golden core or a Demon Core.
Otherwise, it would make no sense at all.
Yet he had already pulverized this Resentment Aggregate. Its core should have emerged long ago.
Just as he was puzzling over this, he discovered that the dust had begun drifting on the wind.
In the blink of an eye, another Resentment Aggregate appeared.
The fellow had actually revived again while his guard was down.
Daochen frowned and swung the Heaven Measuring Ruler in his hand once more. The fellow before him fell to the ground again.
That makes twice now. Is this fellow really that hard to deal with?
How can I destroy him completely?
