Shin Uchiha watched Uzuki Yugao lean against the window, gazing at the passing pedestrians in boredom. The high ponytail tied from her beautiful purple hair drooped like a frost-wilted eggplant, leaving her looking utterly listless.
As Shin Uchiha stood beside the street, watching Uzuki Yugao with a smile, she seemed to sense something. She suddenly raised her head and spotted him standing there.
Uzuki Yugao's eyes lit up. She sprang to her feet, braced a hand on the windowsill, and nimbly jumped out of the second-floor room. In a few quick strides, she reached Shin Uchiha, gazing at the man she loved with bright eyes, a smile on her lips, and slightly quickened breaths.
When Shin Uchiha saw Uzuki Yugao come up to him, he could not keep the corners of his mouth from lifting. He asked gently, "Have you had lunch? Want to come eat with me?"
At Shin Uchiha's words, Uzuki Yugao smiled so broadly that her eyes narrowed into crescents. "Not yet. Anko told me about a place with amazing food. Shall I take you there?"
As she spoke, Uzuki Yugao hooked her hand around Shin Uchiha's left arm, ready to take her sweetheart out for a stroll.
Watching the impulsive Uzuki Yugao, Shin Uchiha shook his head helplessly and patted her head lightly. "You're always rushing into things. Aren't you going to tell your family before you leave? Go on, I'll wait."
Only then did Uzuki Yugao remember that she had not told her family. She stuck out her tongue in embarrassment, then dashed back home like a gust of wind, her purple ponytail bouncing behind her.
Then Shin Uchiha faintly heard voices talking. A moment later, Uzuki Yugao rushed back out, took his arm, and headed toward their destination.
All along the way, Uzuki Yugao
