The sound of the shower stopped.
Luo Mang came out of the bathroom.
"Ah, a shower really feels great."
He closed the door, clapped his hands, stretched, and muttered softly.
Phew~
Exhaling softly, Luo Mang lowered his arms and walked toward the guest room.
Swish~
The door opened, revealing Little Eagle sprawled on the bedding, looking much the same as when he had left.
Sakura Haruno was lying on her stomach, copying passages from a book. She turned at the sound.
"Mang-kun."
"Mm."
For some reason, Sakura Haruno's face looked a little flushed or strange to Luo Mang. Rather than stare at her, he nodded lightly and returned to his spot.
Phew~
But as soon as he sat down, a fragrance drifted over.
It was familiar. Whenever Sakura threw herself at him, he could smell it up close-a fresh, faintly tart orange scent.
Luo Mang frowned slightly and glanced to the side.
Sakura Haruno happened to look over, and their eyes met. Neither felt awkward, and they nodded in greeting.

"Nothing, nothing. I just remembered something and zoned out."

I must be smelling it because we're so close. But is her scent really that strong? Even the blanket smells like her.
Without dwelling on it, Luo Mang made a few adjustments and pulled the blanket over himself to sleep.
He left half for Sakura Haruno. After all, he had promised her.
Sakura Haruno's eyes lit up at the sight. Pressing her lips together, she edged closer and reached out a small hand to lift the blanket.
