As the core of the Geothermal Device gave off a gentle yet steady hum, tremendous heat surged like the pulse of the earth, reaching every frozen corner of the Land of Snow.
The thick ice and snow that had covered this land for untold years began to rustle softly, like winter letting out a sigh.
The ice rapidly thinned and broke apart, turning into trickling streams that nourished the long-parched earth.
Where the ice and snow melted, an incredible sight unfolded!
Beneath the frozen soil once blanketed in pure white, tender green shoots stubbornly pushed their way out. Their leaves unfurled at a visible pace as they greedily drank in the warmth they had gone without for so long.
Then flower buds in every vibrant hue eagerly poked their heads out, bursting into bloom under the urging of the warm currents.
Red, yellow, purple... vivid colors spread like a spilled palette, transforming this lifeless white kingdom into a spring garden brimming with life.
The Land of Snow, a nation imprisoned by ice and snow for far too long, had finally welcomed its belated spring!
Just as this spring scenery, a symbol of rebirth and hope, spread across the land, a familiar voice, gentle and full of fatherly love, seemed to pierce the barriers of time and space, ringing clearly beneath the newly transformed sky:
"Believe in the future. If you do, spring will surely come."
Kazahana Koyuki, still awestruck by the miraculous sight before her, jerked her head up at the voice. Tears instantly blurred her vision.
She eagerly looked toward its source.
