"Mostly because you're acting way too strange, Uncle. You look like you're planning something huge."
Naruto slowly sat up.
Luckily, he had reacted fast and ducked straight down, or Hiashi would have sprayed tea all over his face.
"Cough, cough, cough..."
Hiashi coughed violently, awkwardly wiping the tea stains off his robes with a handkerchief as he glared at Naruto in utter disbelief and displeasure.

He felt his blood pressure soaring.
Assassinate the Hokage?
Never mind that he, Hyuga Hiashi, was utterly loyal to Konoha and the Third Hokage. Even if he had all the courage in the world, he would never do something that would cut him off from Konoha and doom his clan.

And that was without the Uchiha having rebelled!
If he, Hyuga Hiashi, dared to assassinate the Hokage... Hiashi could practically envision the terrible consequences. The Hyuga Clan would likely be flattened by the ANBU and Root in an instant, their compound torn up by Ninjutsu down to its very foundations and plowed over three times!
That would be dragging the entire Hyuga Clan into an abyss from which there was no return!
Seeing Hiashi so agitated that he had nearly lost his composure, Naruto scratched his head and asked a little sheepishly, "Then... why did you look like that just now? It was kind of scary. What's actually going on?"
Hiashi coughed hard twice more before finally getting his breathing under control.
He straightened his robes and sat upright again, his face returning to its usual stern expression, though a lingering weight and worry
