Shobue nodded at her words.
"Sure. I'll send you back right now."
"Wait here for a moment," Shobue instructed Yui.
With that, she formed hand seals and vanished in a puff of smoke with a pop.
"Hmm..." Yui waited where she was for a moment.
The next second, a tugging sensation swept through her entire body.
She did not resist. She blinked lightly, and a cloud of white smoke appeared around her.
Only after the smoke cleared did she realize she was back in Shikkotsu Forest.
"This..." Yui was a little stunned by the scenery changing in an instant before her eyes.
She had not noticed it when she was summoned before, but the entire process was actually this fast.
In the blink of an eye, she had crossed thousands of miles-no, perhaps even farther.

Two figures stood atop a massive tree trunk.
Danzo stared fixedly at the ruins before him, his expression growing darker by the moment.
"Lord Danzo, we only found two bodies and some glass fragments in the ruins."
"But the Byakugan inside are nowhere to be found."
Danzo narrowed his eyes, his expression unreadable.
Thud! He punched the tree trunk, as though trying to vent his anger.
"Damn it, damn it, damn it!" He struck the trunk again and again.
The leaves rustled overhead.
