The goal for this book is two million Chinese characters, and later on, I'll write about the Dragon King and other planes.
With a word count that high, it's bound to put an author's patience to the test. To tell you the truth, I'm a high school student. I'll be starting my second year when school begins, living in a dorm, and I usually write on a spare phone.
But you can rest assured about updates, because my first book, a Legend of the Dragon King fanfic, has already reached 1.5 million characters (proud).
That book never got featured in any recommendations. After all, it was a newcomer's work and still rough around the edges, so even at a hundred thousand characters, it only had a little over a hundred readers.
But I still kept writing until that book reached 1.5 million characters, and over the course of my first year of high school, I also wrote a five-hundred-thousand-character novel. That made two million characters across the two books.
So please don't worry about updates. A year will be enough.
