Leonard was rather surprised. In that bishop's dream, the Goddess actually appeared in such an evil form.
This proved that the bishop had become utterly corrupt!
Raphael, however, was not surprised. He was still thinking, The Evernight Goddess looks even cooler with black smoke pouring off her!
Idle thoughts aside, Raphael knew perfectly well that he had to deal with the problem quickly. Once the dark version of the "Evernight Goddess" before him stepped down from the altar, she would be a real handful.
It was not that she would possess the attributes of a god, but that, with the bishop reinforcing the dream, she was certain to grow stronger-and keep growing stronger.

Raphael shook his head and thought, Superstition really does get people killed!
A "Spirit Warlock" had more ways to deal with evil spirits.
Seeing that he could not suppress his opponent, Raphael strode forward and slapped the evil spirit flying. "That's for disrespecting a god!"
This was a more direct way to deal with evil spirits: beat them up!
Of course, it only worked when Raphael did the beating. An ordinary zombie could not even hit an evil spirit.
Then Raphael lunged forward and sent the evil spirit
