Raphael spent over an hour stitching up all the wounds on Sophia's body.
He sat in the chair beside the bed and let out a long breath. Tonight had truly worn him out. He had spent so long running, then stood at the "operating table" for just as long.
Raphael glanced at Sophia's naked body. It was flawless, full where it ought to be full, without an ounce of excess flesh where it ought to be slender.
Although she had quite a few gruesome wounds, they did nothing to diminish her beauty.
Weak as she was, Sophia struggled to strike a seductive pose. She knew perfectly well that, in an unfamiliar place, facing an unfamiliar Beyonder, this was her last weapon.
Raphael smiled, but made no further move.
Sophia smiled boldly. "I see. Perhaps you prefer this."
As she spoke, she lay back and spread her legs.
"Enough." Raphael raised a hand. "Let's wait until your wounds have healed a little."
He could distinctly feel that, even as a "Zombie," he had almost gotten a nosebleed just now.
Sophia froze for a moment before closing her legs and smiling. "Thank you."
If Raphael had pounced on her now, it really would have been torture for her.
The bedroom's bed was large. Raphael poured Sophia a glass of water, then lay down on the other side to rest.
He really was tired today, and before long, soft snores could be heard.
Sophia struggled to sit up and drink the water, then stared quietly at the handsome young man beside her. She had no idea where she was, nor what this young man hoped to gain by saving her.
She dwelled on it anxiously for a long time. In the end, she could not tell whether she had passed out or fallen
