The Tarot Club meeting ended.
Klein sat at the head of the Bronze Long Table, silently watching the Tarot Club members disappear together.
He did not immediately leave Above the Gray Fog, however.
During the discussion, he had touched on his suspicions and the Churches' current attitude toward the Royal Family.
He had done this to prepare them in advance, so they would not become deeply disappointed in the Churches later and take drastic action.
Klein was not worried about the Hanged Man, the Hermit, or the Sun. The first two were levelheaded enough to give him no cause for concern, while the last had little understanding of the Church of the True Gods.
Judgment and the Magician were not much of a concern either. After all, both women were only casual believers, and the Moon was unlikely to care much about the affairs of the Church of the True Gods.
But Klein knew that Justice and Leonard would surely be disappointed by the Churches' indifference. If they learned that the Churches were allowing a scoundrel like George III to become a god, even if they did nothing drastic, they would still suffer an emotional blow.
Especially Justice, who had only just emerged from the influence of Raphael's twisted doctrines.
Klein took a deep breath and looked toward the star belonging to Raphael. Only after seeing him playing cards with the others did Klein leave Above the Gray Fog.
