Everyone was somewhat surprised to hear the World say that Raphael had killed the king.
Justice Audrey was particularly startled. Just how much did Raphael do last week? Not only did he become Mr. A, he even killed the king?
Seeing everyone turn toward the World, Klein controlled him again and said, "According to Raphael, during the Aurora Order's operation, he encountered a secret realm closely connected to the Black Emperor pathway-he couldn't explain exactly what it was, either, but he could speak with the king while he was advancing and disrupt George III's advancement.
"And so we saw the king explode like a firework."
At this point, he chuckled. "Raphael was even a little disappointed that he couldn't earnestly ask George III for advice on becoming a High Demon—heh, a Zombie like him actually aspired to become a High Demon."
Raphael had only mentioned it in passing at the time, but Klein could tell he was mocking George III for behaving like a High Demon.
He repeated the original words at the Tarot Club gathering mainly for Justice Audrey's benefit. The other members did not particularly care whether the king was a beast or a devil.
Audrey, however, was different. As a noble, she had a deeply ingrained sense of loyalty to the monarch and might find it difficult to accept the king's assassination for a while.
Moon Emlyn smiled. "Comparing this George III to a devil really is quite fitting."
Judgment Xio listed the king's crimes. "To become a god, he trafficked people and orchestrated the Backlund Great Smog Incident-"
He had also murdered her father, concealed his honorable deeds, and left her family in a miserable plight.
The World added, "He also deliberately started the war, allowing Feysac's airships to bomb Backlund."
