Raphael's "Killer Personality" was not a fully developed personality. In proportional terms, his main personality always occupied 80% of his mental strength and Spirit Body, while the "Killer Personality" had only 20%.
Now that his main personality had fallen into an illusion, the "Killer Personality" had no power to control his body.
But the emergence of the "Killer Personality" made the spirituality within Raphael flow again, and that was enough.
Raphael in the Dark Hut sent his power down and let out a Shriek that struck directly at the soul.
This Shriek was a demigod-level attack! Several nearby Beyonders caught in its range immediately felt their souls shaken violently and crouched on the ground, their faces contorted in pain.
The eyes of all three people blinked, apparently suffering some damage. They commanded the bodies under their control to retreat sharply, putting distance between themselves and Raphael and Xio.
Raphael in the Dark Hut was not particularly flexible, after all, and his attack range was limited. He could only keep his sights fixed on those three to avoid harming his own self on the Northern Continent.
Inside the illusion.
Raphael reunited with Xio. Around them were gentlemen and ladies in tailcoats and evening gowns. With Raphael in a trench coat and Xio in a knight's uniform, the two looked completely out of place.
Xio was a little short, and she could not see over the shoulders of the people around her. Unable to make out what lay farther away, she asked, "Where are we?"
Raphael looked at the somewhat blurry walls around them. "Inside an illusion!"
"An illusion?" Xio froze briefly.
Raphael gave a grave nod. "Yes." Few abilities in the Beyonder world could create illusory realms.
