After Raphael gave Fors and Xio the cash he had brought, in the amounts they had agreed on earlier, the three began their meal.

The food at this restaurant was indeed quite good, but the prices were quite something too. The three ordered set meals and a bottle of wine, which cost them 3 pounds and 8

Soli.

That rather pained Fors, who was treating them. It was roughly a week's living expenses for her and Xio.

After bidding farewell to Fors and Xio, Raphael returned to his villa to rest for a while. Then he entered the Dark Hut and used a bestowal to bring some of the Prisoner pathway characteristics he had previously obtained into the real world.

These characteristics had mainly come from Raphael "himself." When he advanced to Living Corpse, the Oldest One had helped him expel the excess characteristics from his body.

There was also the Living Corpse characteristic obtained from Creeping Hunger, which Raphael had asked the Oldest One to shatter.

Thus, Raphael now had five Prisoner characteristics, four Lunatic characteristics, two Werewolf characteristics, and one Zombie characteristic.

In other words, Raphael's reserves amounted to about half of what Miss Sharron had requested. As for the remaining half, Raphael could now use Traveler, and he could monitor the movements of certain Rose School members from within the Dark Hut. He could simply go hunting on the Southern Continent.

He believed he would soon gather the remaining characteristics.

After sorting out these characteristics and having dinner, Raphael took a cab to the Bravehearts Bar.

He ordered a beer at the counter and took a few sips, then got up, went outside, and hailed another cab.

The carriage had only been moving for a short while when Miss Sharron's figure appeared in its windows.
