Raphael conducted a brief investigation. With grain prices soaring, the merchant knew full well that he might be in danger, so he had hired six or seven Beyonder bodyguards in one go, including a Sequence 6. He had also donated a large sum to the Church of Storms, securing special protection from the Mandated Punishers.
In short, a normal "Serial Killer" would never go anywhere near such a target.
But Raphael was different. With his top-tier equipment, a single Sequence 6 was hardly a concern. As long as there were no demigod-level opponents, he would be in no danger even if he failed to kill his target.
