Raphael struck suddenly while his enemies were completely unprepared. The Backlund leader of the Iron and Blood Cross Order was the first to bite the dust, and Raphael followed up with a backhand strike that killed a Pyromaniac.
At that moment, the other Reaper, Dick, was about to emerge fully from his state of frenzy.

Dick shook his head, looked at the Blazing White Spear in his hand, then at the mass of lava before him. It was the Sword of Lava Raphael had thrown earlier. The Blazing White Spear had blocked part of it, but the rest had inflicted severe burns on Dick.
But for someone who had once been a Pyromaniac, burns were hardly a serious injury.
He finally came to his senses and looked up at the scene in the room. What he saw shocked him. Several Fire Crows immediately appeared before him and flew toward Raphael.
Raphael, who had been about to finish off a Conspirer, hurriedly dodged. The Fire Crows skimmed past his head.
Now that Dick had fully awakened, Raphael prepared to pour spirituality into Adam's Gift again and use another area attack.
That would leave almost half his spirituality depleted, but he could take advantage of the opening to finish Dick off.
At that very instant, Dick hurled five Blazing White Spears at Raphael in one go. Raphael's scalp prickled as he realized his opponent had imbued the spears with Harvest.
Even a scratch from a Blazing White Spear would be fatal. And with such a concentrated barrage, there was nowhere to dodge.
