The complete digestion of the Zombie potion had indeed exceeded Raphael's expectations, but on reflection, it was hardly surprising.
The five zombies' "self-detonation performance" that evening had brought people more than enough fear and shock.
And thanks to a spectator on the level of Amon's avatar, his two previous deliberate attempts at acting had already brought him close to complete digestion.
For tonight's operation, Raphael had merely thought this was the simplest and most thorough way to dispose of the bodies and erase the evidence. He had not intended to digest the potion today.
But since he was already so close to complete digestion, simply using his Beyonder abilities often amounted to deliberately acting according to the principles he had worked out. Fully digesting the potion was a natural outcome.
After taking care of everything, Raphael returned to the villa and sensed that the Serial Killer potion was also digesting rapidly.
His previous murders had digested less than a tenth of the potion altogether, but tonight's incident alone had digested roughly seventy or eighty percent.
And as the case continued to attract attention, the potion would keep digesting.
Raphael was very pleased with the results. He was still too restless to sleep, so he went to the study and painted another oil painting, titled "Gluttony."
In the painting, Besip wore a savage grin as he stuffed food, money, other people's honor and dignity, their lives, and more into his mouth, bite after bite.
There was also a devil in the corner of the painting.
The devil in this painting was more solidly defined than the one in his earlier painting, "Greed."
Once he finished, Raphael covered it with a cloth and pondered how to send "Gluttony" out into the world. It would surely cause another stir and draw more attention
