At that moment, the members of Rose Redemption simultaneously performed an advanced ritual, offering freshly slain humans as sacrifices and praying to the True Creator for a temporary shadow space in which to hold their gathering.
Within this ritual, only their leader, the Angel of Fate, had a solid form, with clearly visible features and every detail of his physique.
The members in other locations were all black humanoid silhouettes. Their faces and builds were indistinct, but their expressions could be seen through the simulated features on their shadowy faces.
Just as the Angel of Fate, Ouroboros, began introducing their new member, Raphael, the True Creator suddenly turned His gaze upon them.
As the other members paid their respects to the True Creator, they all realized that His attention must have been drawn by the newcomer. They immediately began speculating about the new member's identity.
Although the Lord that Created Everything provided them with a meeting place, He rarely paid attention to their gatherings.
Raphael followed everyone else's example, lowering his head in reverence and praising the Lord that Created Everything.
He was somewhat worried. Would keeping Adam's Gift on anger this great madman?
But Raphael soon decided that, given the tacit understanding between the True Creator and Adam, the True Creator would not overturn the table.
The True Creator watched for a few seconds without issuing any divine revelation, then withdrew His gaze.
After offering a word of praise to the True Creator, Ouroboros addressed everyone. "Let us continue.
"This new member is currently on the Northern Continent. Have you decided on your code name?"
He directed that last question at Raphael.
"I have," Raphael replied politely. "Darkness."
Ouroboros said in an indifferent tone, "Let us welcome Darkness."
