Sophia had once given Raphael a lock of black hair. He rubbed it against the mirror's surface, and the glass soon began to ripple like water.

Raphael waited a minute or two, but Sophia did not appear. Had she already left Backlund?

That was a shame. Raphael had been hoping to indulge himself a little, but his plans had fallen through.

Still, he did not leave right away. It had been a long time since he had come back, so he poured himself a glass of red wine and took a few sips. Just as he was about to pick up the two Puppets on the table and play with them, his spirituality stirred. He looked toward the full-length mirror by the door, where he had rubbed the hair.

The mirror suddenly darkened, as though someone was making her way toward it.

Raphael walked over to the mirror. The figure inside grew increasingly solid. It was indeed Sophia coming toward him.

He suddenly recalled the nights they had spent together, and a sense of anticipation rose within him.

A few seconds later, Raphael could more or less make out Sophia's features. The mirror parted like the surface of a lake, and a beautiful woman with delicate features and a pale yellow dress stepped out.

It was Sophia.

They smiled at each other. Sophia held her hands behind her back and tilted her head slightly. "Hello, Mr. Zombie."

Her expression was adorable and playful.

Raphael smiled. "It's Wraith now."

Sophia paused briefly. "Congratulations."

"I now have the most basic means of protecting myself. That's why I contacted you."

When they had first met, Raphael had not yet had the Dark Hut, nor had he possessed so many ways to stay alive. Those days had truly been nerve-racking.
