When Raphael opened his eyes, he saw Audrey sitting on a nearby sofa, waiting.
"You're awake?" Audrey asked.
Raphael sat up and moved around a little. Only after confirming that nothing felt wrong did he ask, "How long was I resting?"
"About half an hour."
"Thank you for bringing me back." Raphael smiled.
"Actually, even if I hadn't brought you back, I would have come to see you. There's something else I'd like your help with," Audrey said with a smile. "But you were hurt so badly-"
Raphael leaned against the back of the sofa and raised a hand. "Give me a rough idea first. We can deal with the details in a few days."
"A week ago, a younger cousin of mine went missing," Audrey said. "The police's final conclusion was that he was killed by Feysac spies.
"But I'm certain it was a Beyonder incident, so I'd really like to ask you to investigate."
Raphael smiled. "It's already been a week. Even if we find something, he's probably gone."
"I know," Audrey said seriously. "It would be best if we could save him, but it's all right if we can't."
