Zed, the High Priest of Sorn City, hurried outside, marveling to himself. What is going on today? Why are Oracles showing up one after another?

Mr. Fool's Oracle had only just arrived, and now the Lord of Evil Desires' Oracle was here as well.

Outside the fortress, Zed saw the young, handsome Raphael, a hint of impatience on his face. "Oracle, sir, what brings you here so suddenly?"

As he spoke, he glanced out of the corner of his eye at the beautiful young woman holding a lantern for the Oracle.

She looked eighteen or nineteen. Her face was outrageously beautiful, her eyes shone like gemstones, and her lovely golden hair fell naturally around her shoulders. She carried herself with elegance and composure.

Once again, Zed felt ashamed of his own appearance and lowered his head slightly.

Raphael addressed Zed in Jotun. "Do I need to report to you before coming here?"

"No, no." Zed hurriedly offered an apologetic smile. "That isn't what I meant. It's just that we haven't prepared a welcoming ceremony, so we can't properly show our respect for you."

Audrey watched their expressions as she listened to the exchange, inwardly surprised. She understood Jotun too, though she did not speak it well. This "local" priest actually called Raphael an Oracle. Does the Lord of Evil Desires have believers in the Forsaken Land of the Gods too?

If so, the Lord of Evil Desires is on roughly the same level as Mr. Fool!

Because Mr. Fool could bring people from the Forsaken Land of the Gods to the Tarot Club, its members had long shared a common understanding: Mr. Fool stood above ordinary Gods.
