The Angel of Fate, Ouroboros, whose wings were formed from layers of light, looked at Raphael with an indifferent gaze. "What is it?"
"Honored Angel of Fate," Raphael said respectfully before the altar. "I haven't been able to contact the Vice President for nearly two months. I have an urgent matter to report, so I had no choice but to contact you."
Ouroboros gave a faint grunt of acknowledgment.
Raphael thought, Are all Kings of Angel this aloof?
He continued, "I've made contact with a Sequence 4 Demoness of Despair. She used to be a member of the Demoness Sect, but defected before advancing to Sequence 4.
"I hope to recruit her as a Saint of the Aurora Order, but I expect she'll have some conditions."
This was Raphael's plan for dealing with Trissy, and he reckoned she would most likely agree in order to obtain the Mirror God's Heart.
Of course, he couldn't let anyone else know that he possessed the Mirror God's Heart. That could easily expose him as the one who had killed Saint Tenebrous.
In truth, Raphael intended to turn Trissy into his own subordinate-this sounded a little insane, a Sequence 5
planning to make a Sequence 4 his subordinate-but to Raphael, it was quite feasible. Moreover, he would be using the resources of the Aurora Order and Rose Redemption to strengthen his own subordinate.
Ouroboros immediately said, "Go ahead. I'll have Benjamin contact you. As long as her conditions aren't too excessive, we can agree to them."
