Justice Audrey first addressed Mr. Hanged Man. "Lady D, whom you previously commissioned Raphael to investigate, has now become an important subordinate of his. He said she might be transferred back to Backlund in the future, and he hopes you won't target her too aggressively."
When Raphael had first joined the Aurora Order, Mr. Hanged Man had commissioned him to investigate Lady D, an Oracle active at sea.
At first, Raphael had been unable to obtain information about her. By the time he could, he had been busy fending off the prying eyes of other organizations, so he had never passed the details on to Audrey.
Lady D had performed fairly well in their last operation, so he had decided not to sell out a Sequence 5 subordinate. She might prove very useful in the future.
Hanged Man Alger smiled. "Who has time to target Lady D now? The Church of Storms and the Church of the Eternal Blazing Sun are fighting fiercely at sea. We don't have time to concern ourselves with an important member of a secret organization."
At this point, his smile gradually faded. "But you should be careful now that Raphael has started protecting the Aurora Order's Oracles. He may have grown attached to the Aurora Order and become less willing to sell information about it."
Audrey smiled instead. "That doesn't seem very likely, because he provided information about another Oracle of the Aurora Order, Mr. G. This Oracle also operates mainly at sea. If you need information about him, we can make a trade."
She paused before continuing, "Raphael also made it clear that this is an internal struggle within the Aurora Order. Some people are willing to align themselves with him, while others aren't."
