Sharron brought thirteen strands of hair that her teacher had treated and handed them to Raphael.

Raphael took out the first five levels of the Demon Source Scripture, which he had prepared in advance. Sharron leafed through them, gave Raphael a look, and immediately returned to the Spirit World.

Raphael sighed. A perfectly good transaction had turned into a silent play.

He took a deep breath. His deal with the Temperance Faction was complete.

Raphael planned to wait a while before telling Sharron that the Demon Source Scripture also had a "Saint edition" and an "Angel edition," to see whether the Temperance Faction had anything else worth trading.

He also had a batch of Prisoner pathway characteristics. The ideal buyer for those was actually the Temperance Faction, too.

But the Temperance Faction had such meager resources that they might not be able to afford them.

Raphael planned to discuss this with the Master of the Shadow Cottage after becoming a demigod, to see whether he could exchange those characteristics for things he needed from the Western Continent.

The main reason he had not considered the Dark Hut a potential trading partner was that he already regarded it as his own backyard. Once he became an angel, he would probably be able to harvest its fruits outright.

So advancing was his most important task right now.

All his preparations were complete. All that remained was to fully digest the potion.

Raphael planned to visit another noble tomorrow night. If everything went smoothly, he could finish digesting the potion within the next few days.

At that thought, Raphael exhaled and lay down on his bed, recalling tonight's experiences. The more he thought about them, the more determined he became to someday raid Loen's underground storehouses of Sealed Artifacts.

They were ill-gotten gains
