Raphael picked up the card in the wooden box. Sure enough, it depicted Emperor Roselle performing an occult ritual.
The text on one side of the card read: Sequence 9: Secrets Suppliant. Main ingredients: one singing black mushroom, one dark gloom bat.
Supplementary ingredients: 100 milliliters of red wine, a segment of a candle that had been offered in a church, one poisonous mushroom of any kind, 10 grams of verbena powder.
It really was a Card of Blasphemy.
Raphael smiled, marveling at how lucky he truly was.
Even Saint-level members rarely got to see something like this.
Strictly speaking, Raphael was not actually part of the Aurora Order's inner circle.
But the members of that inner circle were either missing, like Vice President Freddy, or handling affairs in other regions. The order had no choice but to rely heavily on Saints from other pathways, such as Raphael.
Raphael first browsed all the potion formulas on the Card of Blasphemy, then prepared to put it back in the box.
Suddenly, another thought struck him. Something as high-level as a Card of Blasphemy would make an excellent medium for counteracting the aura of the chaos sea.
So he simply put the card away, intending to try it out after returning.
He had the authority now, anyway. Even if the vice president returned and questioned him, he could just say he had borrowed the card for a while and return it then.
Next, Raphael examined several of the Aurora Order's Grade 1 Sealed Artifacts. Their negative effects were all intolerable. Really, the best use for them would be to shatter them and use the Beyonder characteristics inside.
Since he still had experiments to conduct in the Dark Hut, Raphael only gave them a cursory look before leaving the Aurora Order's headquarters.
