After being influenced by the Supernova Dominator, Raphael shelved his original plan to enter the Colorful Lamp and examine God Almighty's arrangements again.
For now, he called it off.
He seriously considered the current situation. Clearly, both the Oldest One and the Supernova Dominator intended to act when he advanced to Angel, and their actions would directly determine whether Raphael could continue to exist.
Previously, Raphael had always felt that he lacked both the ability and the qualifications to participate in their actions. All he could do was find ways to protect himself as best he could.
But after the Supernova Dominator's reminder, Raphael realized that he had an opportunity to get involved in their respective actions and fully exploit the conflicts between them to secure his own survival.
Thus, he would leave God Almighty's arrangements in the Dark Hut alone for now. If the situation spiraled out of control, he could introduce them as a third force.
Even if Raphael failed to escape unscathed, or was outright annihilated, "detonating" God Almighty's arrangements could still leave the Oldest One with a little "something to remember him by."
At this thought, Raphael let out a long sigh. His coming advancement remained extremely perilous.
He could only do his utmost to prepare. Whether he survived would still depend on luck.
Raphael also knew that the Oldest One had not left him much time. With the Supernova Dominator's invitation to cooperate, there was a chance that the Oldest One would act ahead of schedule to be safe.
Raphael suddenly smiled. He reckoned the Oldest One was now bitterly regretting his decision-if he was capable of such regret.
Possessing Raphael should have been a sure thing, but the Oldest One had gotten greedy and sealed away half of the Supernova Dominator.
