The Silent Disciple potion was easier to digest than the Demon potion, but it still required some time to digest completely.
During the earlier operations against the Rose School and the Abyss Entrance plan, Raphael had taken time to visit battlefields across the Southern Continent to digest his potion.
He therefore only needed to participate in two more wars while remaining silent to finish digesting the Silent Disciple potion.
But that was precisely where the problem lay. A few days earlier, he had appeared in the middle of a battlefield as usual, and the fighting had grown increasingly fierce under his manipulation.
Just as Raphael was about to begin digesting his potion, he sensed a Saint joining the battle.
Clearly, that Saint had come to the battlefield after receiving a report from a subordinate.
Raphael had no intention of fighting the other party, so he gave a small demonstration of his strength.
Unsure of victory, the Saint did not attack and quietly waited for Raphael to leave on his own.
But Raphael knew perfectly well that the Official Beyonders had their eyes on him now. This time, they might have sent only one Saint to observe him; next time, it might be two or more.
He would either have to prepare for a fight with the Official Beyonders or find a new way to digest his potion.
Raphael was still considering what to do.
Whatever obstacles he encountered in digesting the Silent Disciple potion, it was an indisputable fact that he was close to finishing.
It was therefore time to begin preparing the ritual for his next advancement. The ritual for advancing to Sequence 2 Ancient Bane was to find an ancient, sinister item capable of bearing an Angel's power.
