Mental attacks were the most common among them, one of the distinguishing features of the "Abyss" Pathway.

As a direct result, after Raphael's advancement, even his ordinary speech carried a hint of "Temptation," making others find him more believable.

This differed from the abilities of the "Spectator" Pathway. Those primarily deceived a target's "Mental Body," which was closer to what Raphael understood as the "subconscious."

Thus, a "Spectator's" words made a target believe from the bottom of their heart, and without outside interference, they might keep believing those words indefinitely.

But Saints of the "Abyss" Pathway primarily deceived or attacked the target's mind.

To be more specific, sometimes a target did not truly believe a "Demon's" words, but because of "fear," "Corruption," "Desire," and other factors, they would not refute the "Demon." Instead, they would find a reasonable justification for those

words themselves, convincing themselves that the "Demon" was right.

Essentially, "Demons" and "Blatherers" could completely change a person's worldview in a short time by exploiting their emotions, desires, and so forth.

That made the ability to turn a target into a devil through "Blathering" understandable. It was entirely the result of attacking the target's mind, causing them to fall directly into becoming a devil.
