But he had no time to worry about Klein's situation. Zaratul was already attempting to manipulate Raphael's "spirit body threads," making his movements sluggish.
Raphael remained calm. He parted his lips slightly and transmitted "whispers" and the aura of "corruption" along his "spirit body threads." From the mind to the spirit body, then to the flesh, it was an attack on every front.
Zaratul had no choice but to immediately sever his connection to Raphael's "spirit body threads." The next instant, several marionettes around him in Utopia Town either exploded on the spot or lost control and became monsters. He had clearly used the "spirit body threads" to repeatedly swap places with these marionettes, ultimately leaving all of Raphael's attacks inside them.
Elsewhere, the "Lord of Evil Desires" was fighting the projections of Roselle and William. Angels of the "Seer" pathway were always this troublesome, perfectly capable of holding off two or three angels alone.
Just then, a stone square suspended in midair suddenly appeared beneath Klein, who stood high above. Black Stone Pillars rose one after another, supporting a magnificent, sacred cathedral that enclosed him.
It was Adam's Corpse Cathedral!
Neither Raphael nor the "Lord of Evil Desires" took the initiative to rescue him, because "they" had not come here today to save Klein-
Or rather, the fellow did not need saving. Raphael remembered that Klein had made arrangements well in advance and would ultimately escape after a scare, but without any real danger. He would even seize the opportunity to see the portion of the "Blasphemy Slate" concerning advancement to a Great Old One and learn a great deal of high-level information from Adam. All things considered, he would not lose out.
