But Audrey, Justice, did not continue. Alger, the Hanged Man, took the hint. "What compensation should I offer to obtain the information I want?"
Audrey had already thought it through. "I'll have to ask Raphael what exactly he needs, but how about keeping your payment under five hundred pounds?"
"No problem," Alger immediately replied.
At that moment, Leonard, The Star, spoke up. "I also know something about this matter, and I'd like to join your transaction."
He had nowhere to claim reimbursement for an information fee, but he was simply curious.
As the buyer, Alger said, "No problem. We can exchange information too. If yours is valuable, it can offset part of the payment."
