For the next two days, Raphael practiced during the day and soaked in medicinal baths and meditated at night.
He had already begun to grasp the Self Refining portion of the Three Corpse Refining Arts. Although he had yet to start digesting his potion, he was already much stronger than an ordinary Living Corpse.
If he also used his Serial Killer abilities, he could even overwhelm most Sequence 6 Beyonders.
Raphael felt that it would not matter if someone saw him using his Serial Killer abilities. They would merely assume he possessed a corresponding Sealed Artifact, never imagining that he had drunk potions from two pathways.
While practicing, Raphael also considered how to act as a Zombie and a Serial Killer.
Neither Sequence was difficult to act as. As its name suggested, a Living Corpse was a corpse that had suddenly come to life, so the main feeling it should inspire in those around it was fear. Acting as a Serial Killer was not difficult either. He only needed to plan and carry out a few serial murders.
Raphael also intended to take on some assassination jobs and find targets for his acting through them. In his view, killing ordinary people was rather pointless.
However, that would require setting up a small assassination organization. At the very least, he needed a "front desk"-somewhere to accept jobs.
For now, though, it was only an idea. It would have to wait until Raphael had further adjusted to his Living Corpse state and created a few decent Zombies.
