Naruto, disguised as Tsunade, strolled along Konoha's paths with Dan Katō.
Though Naruto had experience in such matters, this was his first late-night date with a man. He had no idea what to do or what might happen. Amid his nerves and unease, deep down he felt a strange flicker of delight and anticipation at the novelty.
After a long silence, Dan Katō spoke first. "Tsunade, how long has it been since we last saw each other?"
Naruto answered without thinking. "Probably... a few decades."
Dan Katō sighed wistfully. "For me, it feels like yesterday. When I opened my eyes, not only had the village changed, but the younger ninja had grown up, too. It's a difficult feeling to come to terms with."
"But..." Dan took Tsunade's hand and gazed at him tenderly. "What surprised me most was that you became Hokage."
A breeze swept past, and Tsunade's shoulders trembled slightly.
It was the depths of winter in Konoha Year 64, the coldest time of the year.
Only then did Dan realize. "Ah! Look at me. This body from Impure World Reincarnation can't feel temperature, so I forgot you're a living person..."
He released Tsunade's hand and took off his ninja jacket, but the moment it left his body, it turned to dust, reformed into a jacket, and returned to Dan's body!
Apparently, clothing was also bound to the body under Impure World Reincarnation. He couldn't even take off his armor!
"..." A shadow of sadness crossed Dan's eyes.
Naruto reassured him kindly. "It's fine. I just soaked in a hot spring. I'm not cold."
Since he was a Wood Release: Clone, he truly couldn't feel the cold.
Dan smiled faintly, took Tsunade's hand, and laced their fingers together as they continued onward.
Their hands were clasped tightly, yet neither
