Kakashi jolted. As he retreated, his hands formed seals in one fluid sequence. He planted his feet and slapped both palms against the ground.
An Earth-Style Wall rumbled upward, blocking his hesitant gaze, but it could not stop the man he had longed to see!
Watching the figure slowly pass through the Earth-Style Wall, Kakashi's gaze flickered. "Obito, you should be dead. Could it be... you've been brought back through Impure World Reincarnation?"
Obito's gaze was relaxed. "Just what I'd expect from Kakashi of the Sharingan. Your information may be outdated, but your agility and keen analytical skills haven't dulled a bit."
"The Sharingan?" Kakashi clenched his hand, bewildered. "Didn't you already take it back? That eye, along with that name!"
"That tendency of yours to get confused hasn't changed either!"
Obito sounded just as puzzled, but the moment he finished speaking, he hurled a kunai straight at Kakashi's face!
At this distance, even reacting was incredibly difficult, let alone dodging!
But Kakashi not only reacted, his body instinctively darted aside. Both eyes tracked the kunai as it flew past him, until a spasm shot through the muscles in his waist. His feet stopped abruptly, and he nearly lost his balance!
"This feeling... it's been so long, but there's no mistaking it. It's exactly like when I first used the Sharingan back then...!"
A bright pair of Sharingan shone in Kakashi's eyes!
Obito had transplanted them into Kakashi while he slept!
