As soon as they entered the mountains, the old horse broke into a wild gallop.
Although the dense mountain woods were hardly suited to a running horse, they clearly posed little obstacle to this old horse, whose four hooves flew.

With a chuckle, Hui Mian darted up to the hut. A mountain ghoul sitting cross-legged inside was startled by the voice and opened its eyes to look outside, where a little marten had stopped.
The mountain ghoul recognized the marten at a glance. Delight immediately spread across its strange face, and it hurried down from its rock, repeatedly cupping its hands and bowing to the little marten outside.
"Woo, ooo!"
The mountain ghoul could not yet speak human language, and only assorted strange sounds came from its mouth.
Hui Mian was thoroughly satisfied with the respect the mountain ghoul showed.
"Good. Master was right about you. Don't say I ate all that food of
