After a spring rain and a night of rest, some of the plants left leaning every which way, their branches and leaves drooping, in the valley and on the hills where the two demons had fought had regained firmness in their leaf veins-a testament to nature's tenacious vitality.
Stoneborn and the others sat at the foot of the mountain whose peak had been broken off. After sitting cross-legged all night, he opened his eyes to a scene brimming with life, both in what he saw and what he sensed.
This Heavenly Battle Mountain had extraordinary spiritual resonance!

Old Vine walked over from outside, leaning on his vine staff. In his other hand, he carried some food on a banana leaf, mostly roots and fruit gathered in the mountains.
The burly man nearby slowly opened his eyes as well. He gently exhaled, and a breeze swept through the valley beyond the hollow, sending beads of dew showering down like rain.
A gray figure darted and flickered around the valley. It was Hui Mian, who had run off before daybreak.
