The closer the Starwoven Dharma Assembly drew, the more deeply Yi Shuyuan slept.
But this deep sleep did not mean he had stopped paying attention to the elixir refinement. On the contrary, he felt a peculiar connection to the Heaven-Turning Furnace, to the Furnace Within the Furnace, and even to the auras within them.
It was as though part of his consciousness wandered in and around the two alchemy furnaces, their blazing fires offering the warmth of a winter hearth.

He studied both their outward forms and their auras.
To tell the truth, Yi Shuyuan had never decided what sort of elixir to refine at the outset. Even now, he still had not. He had simply brought over more than half the Divine Medicine Palace's treasured stock in one go.
Yet Yi Shuyuan was confident that he could refine an immortal elixir. To him, the marvels of an alchemy cauldron did not lie in the principles of generation and the mysteries of pill scriptures that the people of the Divine Medicine Palace painstakingly studied-or rather, those mysteries were relatively clear to him.

The key was not whether he could do it, but how far these ingredients could take him, and how far Yi Shuyuan intended to go!
