Before long, a gloomy, pale-faced man wearing a Slanted-Wing Hat entered. He seemed a little surprised upon arriving, then hurried up to Liao Yaohuang and bowed.
"My respects, King Liao! Your royal hall is especially quiet today!"
Xuanxi stood behind the gauze curtain to one side, looking through it at the indistinct demonic silhouette outside. Through her Dharma Eye and Spirit Sense, she could vaguely make out a writhing giant serpent that reeked of rank blood.
