He supported himself on two arms, a forked tongue flicking from his narrow face from time to time. Several pairs of long horns grew from his forehead, like those of a flood dragon.

Another had a human head and a horse's body. He held a longbow, with a quiver strapped to his back, and was brushing dust from his body.

The last was an even more deformed and bizarre humanoid insect.
