In the Star Realm, however, the term usually referred specifically to Star Realm Shuttles that could only be used there: Light Shuttles.
Because of the Star Realm's unique environment, Spirit Tamers who traveled through it year-round usually equipped themselves with one. These could not be used in the lower world, however, because most were known for their toughness and durability rather than having much propulsion of their own. Just as a boat sailed across the sea with the aid of buoyancy but ran aground on land, the underlying principles were entirely different.
It was not a true Escape Artifact, which was why it had been singled out and given a separate name. Otherwise, it would have been a genuine Escape Artifact capable of operating in any world and any environment. The difference in value between the two was enormous; they could hardly be mentioned in the same breath.
To make travel easier for Spellbreak City's cultivators, the major sects and factions pooled their funds to provide these items. Nor were the requirements particularly harsh.
