The Nine Hells had existed since ancient times.
According to legend, it was a strange place encompassing three great domains: the Demon Realm, the Underworld, and the Asura Realm. Each domain was divided into upper, middle, and lower layers, hence the name Nine Hells.
Another legend held that, since the age of the Immortal Kingdom, it had been a perilous place where the Demon Gods of the Heavenly Realms were imprisoned, abandoned and cursed by all immortals. Its nine demonic layers formed endless independent voids, reflecting every evil on the dark side of the Heavenly Realms!
It also went by many other names, including the "World of the Dead," the "Netherworld," and the "Demon Domain." It was a place utterly unlike the universe on the light side.
This time, after considerable effort through various channels, the sect had finally learned of confirmed traces of the desolate beast Taotie in a certain region of the lower Asura Realm.
The sect wanted Little White to undergo fusion refinement with the Taotie origin to facilitate her subsequent advancement. It would also give her the ability to devour all things and strengthen herself, beyond the abilities of her own heavenly wolf bloodline, allowing her to fuse the three divine star fates more perfectly. Finding a living desolate beast Taotie was therefore the first priority.
