Had the drug dealers gone mad?

Jenny could not hear the Mentor's lecture at that moment. By now, Blaze's "sincerity" had more or less won her over.

She stepped away from the iron gates and slowly opened them.

"Creeeeak..."

The rusty hinges let out a rather grating screech.

A strange smile suddenly appeared on Jenny's face.

"Don't say I didn't warn you. As outsiders, you can only walk along the Stone-Paved Path. Even a few steps off to the side could cost you your lives!"

"Caw!"

The crow called overhead again, seemingly backing up Jenny's words, but when everyone looked up, they still could not see the ominous bird.

Once the gates were fully open, Jenny indicated that they were not allowed to drive inside, then led the seven hulking men into the grounds.

Mackey, who brought up the rear, glanced back after entering and discovered that the iron gates had somehow closed on their own.

What puzzled Blaze and the others was that the girl leading them was heading neither toward the main building nor any of the other buildings, but toward the lake.

Although Blaze's words had fooled her, Jenny still loathed drug dealers. She had no desire to take them straight to the indoor entrance to the Mystic Realm, so she went to one of the three outdoor entrances instead.

She could have had the Shadow of the Mystic Realm bring them straight inside, but that would consume magic power. Jenny treasured every bit of her magic power-it was a nonrenewable resource.

"Stay close when we go through the 'door.' Otherwise, even if we rescue you, you'll be half-dead. Hehehe."

After those peculiar words, the girl circled a rock beside the lake one and a half times, then reversed direction and circled it twice before vanishing outright.
