Chapter 174: Inspired to become his idol!
Another morning arrived.

The opening theme rang out with its distinctive rhythm, announcing the start of another episode of the 1986 adaptation of Journey to the West.

An enormous thorn plant, a tiny Doudou, and a muscular, shaggy monkey.
This bizarre trio huddled around a tablet beside the Demonized Crystal Forest, yelling excitedly.
All three were watching Journey to the West for the first time. With an actual monkey among them, the sense of immersion was incredible, and their excitement was off the charts.
"Holy shit! That old Dragon King is sneaky! First he acts all nice and gives him gifts, then the moment my idol leaves, he goes to Heaven to snitch!"
"Exactly! None of those four can fight worth a damn!"
"Beat his ass!"
The three watched episode after episode. Even lunch was hurriedly fetched from the dining table in the Empty Hall by Mumu and the monkey, while Doudou, as the tablet's owner, enjoyed the privilege of not having to move.
Incidentally, Mumu had finally cultivated a Symbiotic Chewing Cavity. It was a symbiotic plant that could transmit the taste of food to Mumu, then break the chewed food down in an internal acid chamber to provide nutrients for itself and Mumu.
Still, given Mumu's enormous size, there was no way to get full by eating through it. Each time, Mumu only received a tiny portion to sample.
