Chapter 474: The "stubborn stain" could not be removed
Within the Twisted Abomination's domain, the human soldiers were thrilled to see Hilbert, and the Doolin Beasts that understood his words seemed excited as well.
Hilbert did not want these people staying here as a burden, either.
He gave them a slight nod.
He turned the Lionheart King Sword's blade from horizontal to vertical, pivoting backward as the muscles in his arm flexed and his magic power circulated.
"Hummm... roar..."
A sound like a lion's roar rang out from the sword. Driven by his power, the longsword suddenly accelerated and vanished from its original position.
A beautiful streak of silver flashed like lightning, tracing a perfect semicircle.
"Sss..."
The soldiers and Doolin Beasts saw only a flash before their eyes, and the magnetic pulling sensation behind them instantly disappeared.
A peculiar rift over a meter wide appeared, splitting the dark red dust along with it, and continued spreading to either side.
The soldiers could even see helicopters circling overhead through it.
"What are you standing around for? You can leave now! Carry the soldiers on your backs!"
Hilbert's voice was steady and forceful, as though some special power compelled obedience. The Doolin Beasts instinctively lowered themselves.
"Get on! Quick, quick, quick!"
Second Lieutenant Simon urged the soldiers onto the Doolin Beasts' backs, helping the wounded up alongside his comrades.
The Doolin Beasts' backs were quite flat, and their thick body fat made them very comfortable to sit on. Their long manes were not as stiff as they looked, but rather soft yet extremely tough, perfect for the soldiers to grip and steady themselves.
Only when the Doolin Beasts rose did Simon realize that the man in the magnificent armor had no intention of moving.
"You... aren't you leaving with us, sir?"
